📌 Job Vacancy – Microsoft Systems Engineer Location: Amman, Jordan Employment Type: Full-Time A company based in Amman is seeking an experienced Microsoft Systems Engineer to join its IT / Infrastructure & Cloud team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint management, security, and managed services environments. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments. • Manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including Domain Controllers, replication, Users & Groups, OUs, GPOs, authentication, and permissions. • Configure and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services. • Administer and support Microsoft Exchange Server On-Premises, including mail flow, connectors, SMTP, certificates, databases, and high availability / DAG. • Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including users, groups, licenses, roles, and Exchange Online. • Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, authentication, and hybrid identity. • Administer Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, security policies, application deployment, and Windows Update policies. • Implement and support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365. • Support endpoint security, EDR, ASR, vulnerability management, and security investigations. • Provide L2/L3 technical support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud issues. • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), health checks, incident resolution, and post-implementation support. • Participate in Microsoft 365, Exchange, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender implementation and migration projects. 🎓 Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred). • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies and enterprise infrastructure. • Strong practical knowledge of: Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory (AD DS) & Group Policy (GPO) DNS & DHCP Microsoft Exchange Server On-Premises Microsoft 365 Administration Microsoft Entra ID Microsoft Intune Microsoft Defender for Endpoint & Defender for Office 365 PowerShell Microsoft 365 Hybrid Environments Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis • Experience with L2/L3 support and complex infrastructure troubleshooting. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience working with customers and technical stakeholders. ⭐ Preferred Skills: • Exchange Hybrid & DAG / High Availability • Microsoft Entra Connect • Conditional Access & MFA • Microsoft Defender XDR • Endpoint Security & Security Baselines • PowerShell Automation • Microsoft 365 / Exchange Migration • Managed Services / MSP experience • Microsoft certifications are a plus. 📩 How to Apply: Please send your CV to: 📧 [email protected] with “Microsoft Systems Engineer” in the subject line.
