Junior .NET Developer / AI Engineer (both in 1 developer) Location: Amman, Jordan – Marj Al-Hamam Employment Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Salary: JOD 350–500 per month GPA, Very good and higher About the Role Mahalati is looking for a motivated Junior .NET Developer / AI Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an early-career developer looking to strengthen their software engineering skills while gaining hands-on experience with AI and modern product development. You will help develop and maintain .NET applications, implement features, fix bugs, integrate AI models and services, test AI-powered functionality, and improve product performance and reliability. Qualifications - Experience with C#, .NET 8+ / .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, and REST APIs. - Understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, dependency injection, and maintainable code. - Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with Entity Framework Core, API validation, authentication/authorization, error handling, and OpenAPI/Swagger. - Understanding of async programming, background processing, SignalR/WebSockets, and API performance fundamentals. - Ability to write automated tests and systematically debug issues. - Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews, Docker/Docker Compose, and basic CI/CD. - Basic understanding of AI/LLM concepts and integrating AI services through APIs. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with mobile developers, product owners, and backend developers. - Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Starting salary: JOD 350–500 per month, depending on skills and experience. Hybrid working model: - 3 office days in Marj Al-Hamam, Amman, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a one-hour break. - 2 remote working days from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, including a one-hour break. - 1 dedicated remote learning and development day. During your learning day, you will be assigned courses and materials to strengthen your technical skills, learn industry best practices, and support your professional growth. Nice to Have - Experience with Flutter, Dart, Riverpod, Dio, Retrofit, or mobile/API contracts. - Exposure to object storage, payment, or delivery-provider integrations. - Familiarity with Dockerized development and PostgreSQL administration. - Experience with AI APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, or AI feature evaluation/testing. - University, internship, freelance, or personal projects involving .NET, Flutter, AI, or e-commerce platforms.
