🚀 Senior Full Stack Software Developer – PHP / Laravel 📍 Location: Amman, Jordan 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time 🏢 Work Mode: On-Site 💻 Industry: IT & Technology Solutions About the Role We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our team and take ownership of designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, and modern front-end technologies, with the ability to contribute to system architecture, integrations, security, and technical decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Develop and optimize backend services using PHP 8+ and Laravel. Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web, mobile, and third-party integrations. Develop and integrate front-end components using Angular or similar frameworks. Design and optimize MySQL databases and complex SQL queries. Implement authentication and authorization using technologies such as JWT, OAuth2, Passport, or Sanctum. Optimize application performance using caching, queues, and Laravel advanced features. Lead code reviews and ensure clean, secure, and maintainable code. Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues. Contribute to system architecture, technical standards, and best practices. Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance. Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Docker, deployments, and release processes. Maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams. Work closely with IT, business analysts, UI/UX teams, and other stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 6–10+ years of experience in Full Stack Development, with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel. Expert-level knowledge of Laravel, including Eloquent, Queues, Events, and Service Container. Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8, MySQL, and SQL performance optimization. Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Strong understanding of API design, security, and system integrations. Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI. Good knowledge of Linux, Nginx/Apache, and web server environments. Experience with caching, message queues, and distributed system concepts. Exposure to Docker and containerized environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives. Nice to Have Experience with insurance or financial systems. Familiarity with Java / Spring Boot. Experience developing backend services for mobile applications. Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and legacy system modernization.
