We're looking for a Senior Back-End Developer who can own the server side of our applications, write clean and reliable code, and deliver high-quality solutions from day one. 📍 Location: Amman, Jordan 🏢 Work Mode: On-site 📌 Candidates must be based in Jordan. 💼 Experience: 5+ years building back-end applications, with strong Python experience. What You'll Bring ✅ Strong hands-on experience with Python (must-have). ✅ Experience with one or more additional back-end technologies such as .NET, Node.js, or Java. ✅ Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs. ✅ Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, including data modeling, queries, and performance optimization. ✅ Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization, including OAuth2, JWT, and SSO. ✅ Experience integrating with external systems, third-party services, and message queues. ✅ Experience writing automated tests and following secure software development practices. ✅ Strong knowledge of Git-based workflows and modern branching strategies. ✅ Hands-on experience using AI tools and agents to accelerate development and productivity. ⭐️ Front-end experience with React or Next.js is a plus. What You'll Do 💻 Design, build, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and integrations. 🗄 Model data and write efficient queries against relational and NoSQL databases. 🔗 Integrate applications with external systems and third-party services. 🧪 Write clean, testable, and well-documented code. 🔍 Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards. 🛠 Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments. 🤝 Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver features end to end. 🤖 Use AI tools and agents to improve development efficiency and engineering productivity.
