Job Vacancy | Accountant – Automotive Sector A leading automotive trading company in Jordan is looking to hire an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities * Manage and record daily accounting transactions related to vehicle sales, purchases, inventory, and operating expenses. * Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including purchases, sales, transfers, costs, and stock movements. * Reconcile vehicle inventory records with the accounting system and investigate any discrepancies. * Handle accounting transactions related to vehicle imports, suppliers, agents, and international transactions. * Prepare and review Letters of Credit (L/Cs), Documentary Collections, shipping documents, customs documentation, and import-related financial records. * Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including supplier and customer reconciliations and collections. * Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate recording of all banking transactions. * Monitor and reconcile customer deposits, vehicle sales receivables, supplier balances, and other related accounts. * Assist in calculating and reviewing the cost of imported vehicles, including freight, customs, clearance, and other associated costs. * Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports related to sales, inventory, receivables, payables, and profitability. * Support budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and financial analysis. * Monitor financial performance and investigate significant variances. * Support internal and external audit requirements and provide the necessary financial documentation. * Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable Jordanian regulations. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance only. * 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience. * Previous experience in the automotive sector, automotive trading, dealerships, vehicle import companies, or a closely related industry is highly preferred. * Strong practical knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control. * Experience with vehicle sales and inventory accounting is an advantage. * Good knowledge of import and trade finance transactions, including L/Cs and Documentary Collections. * Experience dealing with suppliers, banks, customs/clearance costs, and international transactions. * Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. * Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of ERP systems. * Very strong English communication skills, written and spoken. * Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. ⚠️ Important: Candidates should have practical accounting experience relevant to automotive trading, vehicle dealerships, vehicle importation, inventory, or a closely related commercial environment. 📱 Qualified candidates are requested to send their CV via WhatsApp only: 0797217168
