DevOps Engineer Xeleration This is a full-time, on-site DevOps Engineer role based in Amman. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and managing CI pipelines, automating deployments, monitoring system health, and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with development and operations teams. The role also involves managing Linux-based servers, implementing Infrastructure as Code practices, and improving workflows to support rapid, stable software delivery. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align infrastructure and deployment processes with business and product goals. Qualifications Strong System Administration experience, particularly with Linux-based environments, including server configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment management. Proficiency in Continuous Integration (CI) and related tooling to build, test, and deploy applications efficiently and reliably. Background in Software Development, with the ability to understand code, integrate with development workflows, and contribute to automation scripts. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly beneficial. Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools to ensure system observability and rapid incident response. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
