Cyber Security Officer Petra Engineering Industries Co.; a market leader in the design and manufacture of high quality commercial and industrial HVAC equipment; seeks to hire Cyber Security Officer with the following: Main Duties:     Monitor cybersecurity alerts and events and coordinate the response to security incidents. Manage and follow up on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation activities. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities with the IT team. Monitor and review security logs from firewalls, endpoints, servers, and other security systems. Support the administration and monitoring of cybersecurity solutions, including EDR, SIEM, Firewalls, Email Security, Vulnerability Management, and PAM. Investigate security alerts and ensure timely escalation of potential security incidents. Support user access reviews, privileged account reviews, and access control activities. Ensure cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards are properly implemented across IT systems. Participate in security risk assessments and identify potential cybersecurity risks. Support cybersecurity awareness activities and user security training. Assist with security audits, compliance requirements, and evidence collection. Participate in IT projects to ensure cybersecurity requirements are considered during the planning and implementation phases. Coordinate with IT Infrastructure, Applications, and other departments on cybersecurity requirements. Maintain cybersecurity documentation, reports, incident records, and risk registers. Coordinate with vendors and third parties regarding security issues and remediation activities. Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, technologies, and best practices Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security. Good understanding of Network Security, Firewalls, EDR, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, IAM, PAM, Email Security, and Incident Response. Good knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and technical documentation skills.
