We’re hiring: Accountant | VoomRide VoomRide is looking for an accountant with at least 2 years of experience to manage daily accounting, maintain accurate financial records and help automate our finance processes. You should have experience in a business with frequent daily incoming and outgoing transactions, ideally in transportation, logistics, delivery, e-commerce or a similar operating environment. What you’ll own Manage daily bookkeeping, including customer payments, driver payouts, refunds and operating expenses. Upload, record and verify invoices, receipts and supporting documents. Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways and accounting records, investigating discrepancies promptly. Manage accounts payable and receivable and monitor daily cash movements. Complete monthly closing and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow. Improve accounting workflows through system integrations, automation and stronger financial controls. Coordinate with external accountants and auditors on tax filings and reporting requirements. What we’re looking for A degree in Accounting or Finance. At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience in a business with substantial daily transaction activity. Practical experience using accounting systems, preferably Mazeed and Zoho Books. Strong reconciliation skills and confidence managing transactions across multiple payment channels. Strong Excel skills alongside the ability to use accounting software effectively. A practical approach to automation, accuracy and meeting reporting deadlines.
