Job Title: Construction Manager Hussein Atieh & Sons Co. (HAE) Number of Vacancies: 2 Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 12 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in a Construction Manager or similar senior position on water supply, wastewater, irrigation, or Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) projects. Strong experience in pipeline and network construction, including excavation, bedding, pipe laying, testing, backfilling, reinstatement, and associated civil works. Good knowledge of DI, HDPE, and PVC pipes, fittings, valves, chambers, and related infrastructure works. Proven ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, manpower, equipment, materials, and construction resources. Good knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, QA/QC, and HSE requirements. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and contract documents. Knowledge of MS Project is an advantage. Fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all civil construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and project schedules. Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly construction activities. Supervise and coordinate pipeline installation, excavation, backfilling, testing, reinstatement, chambers, and associated civil works. Direct and manage multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, supervisors, technicians, and laborers, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity. Oversee daily construction activities to ensure smooth workflow and alignment with project schedules, milestones, and resource allocations. Monitor construction works to ensure strict adherence to approved technical specifications, design standards, and contractual requirements. Coordinate with the Project Manager, QA/QC, HSE, surveyors, and other project disciplines. Monitor project progress, productivity, manpower, equipment, and material requirements, and take corrective actions when required. Ensure the timely availability and approval of materials, shop drawings, method statements, and inspection requests. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, technical, and contractual requirements. Identify and resolve site issues, delays, and construction constraints. Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover. Prepare and review progress reports, site records, quantities, and as-built documentation. Report project progress, risks, and constraints to the Project Manager.
