Systems Administrator Petra Engineering Industries Co Main Duties:     Administer and maintain Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services. Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft services. Administer and support Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure. Manage and support Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including user accounts, licenses, Exchange Online, and related services. Manage and support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, AHV, or equivalent technologies. Administer and monitor HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) platforms. Manage and support Storage Systems, including SAN, NAS, and enterprise storage platforms. Manage and monitor Backup Solutions, including backup jobs, repositories, retention policies, and overall backup health. Support and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) infrastructure, procedures, and replication solutions. Perform regular backup and recovery testing to ensure data recoverability and DR readiness. Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, and overall infrastructure health. Troubleshoot and resolve server, storage, virtualization, backup, and Microsoft infrastructure issues. Perform system patching, upgrades, maintenance, and configuration changes. Participate in IT incident, problem, and change management processes. Provide technical support to IT teams and escalate complex issues when required. Ensure infrastructure systems meet defined availability, performance, backup, and DR requirements.   Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 2–5 years of hands-on experience in System Administration or IT Infrastructure. Practical experience in server administration, virtualization, storage, backup, and Microsoft environments. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and operations. Good communication and technical documentation skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of an IT Infrastructure team.
